Castle Hill park is a fabulous green maze. The heritage on show at the park sets the scene for lovely family walks where you can wander through the castle ruins and gaze at the stunning waterfall. The site also has incredible 360° views of Nice: Vieux-Nice on one side and the Baie des Anges and Nice port on the other.
You can reach the top of the hill up stairs at Quai Rauba Capeu, the lanes in Vieux-Nice, take the lift or hop on the tourist train.
